The show must go on, even if the gathering is virtual! The Valley’s most delightful concert series, the Margaret Carney Tea & Music Series, returns this year to the websites and social media of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries.

For the past 13 years the Columbus Public Library has hosted this perennial favorite, a wonderful concoction of concert, lecture and tea that has entertained audiences on Friday afternoons in May.

This year, the concerts will be moved online to comply with restrictions on large gatherings and will be entitled Tea & Music: Symphony 101. Joining these lively and entertaining concert/lectures once again will be some of the talented musicians of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, with pithy commentary provided by them and the Symphony’s music director George Del Gobbo.

So brew yourself a fine cup a tea and join us for one or more of these exciting concert/lectures!
