Julia Gerhardt, French Horn
Freelance musician and horn evangelist Julia Gerhardt holds positions in the Columbus (GA) Symphony Orchestra, the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, and the Albany (GA) Symphony Orchestra and has performed as a substitute or extra musician with orchestras across the Southeast, most notably, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and the Lexington Phil. She is also the operations director of the Kendall Betts Horn Camp.
Ms. Gerhardt earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Indiana University, the Master of Arts in Music: Music Studies from the University of New Hampshire, and the Performer Diploma from Indiana University. Ms. Gerhardt’s teachers include Michael Hatfield, Myron Bloom, Dr. Jean Martin-Williams, Richard Deane, Kendall Betts, Rick Seraphinoff, Dale Clevenger, and Jeff Nelsen.
